Frauen helfen Frauen e.V. organises the following projects, among others:

• The women’s refuge in Bonn (Frauenhaus Bonn) offers women protection and support. Here, people who identify as women find a safe place for themselves and their children.
• The women’s advice centre (Frauenberatungsstelle) offers comprehensive advice and support to all women who are affected by or threatened with patriarchal violence.
• finding a flat (wohnraumfinden…) … supports women affected by patriarchal violence and their children in finding a place to live as quickly as possible.

The autonomous women’s refuge in Bonn is financed from the following sources:

• State funds from the state of NRW
• Subsidy from the city of Bonn
• Donations from private individuals and companies
• Fines
